Regional Goat Cheese Fair in Sierra de Gredos

torta-valdecabrasAfter the success achieved in the first two editions, the town council of Candeleda organizes also this year the Regional Goat Cheese Fair to be held in the Plaza del Castillo square on 5, 6 and 7 December.

The fair is a great opportunity to taste the cheese that is made from the milk of the goats grazing around Candeleda and El Raso, a privileged environment with the best pastures. But also diaries from other provinces and regions like Castilla-La Mancha, Extremadura, Madrid and Cantabria confirmed their presence participating in the fair with their own stands.

The best place to stay and enjoy a gastronomic break is – obviously – our La Josa Country Hotel. We have still availability, so don’t miss the opportunity to spend a weekend in the beautiful Sierra de Gredos!
